Located within the failed extension of the 1997 Central Madrid urban plan, this project began with a masterplanning exercise for 17,000 new dwellings and culminated with a proposal for the redevelopment of a 6 hectare plot. Focussing on
sustainable mobility, I created a pedestrian axis within a geometrical urban fabric, linking key
facilities with the underused metro station .
