EMPLOYMENT
Architectural Assistant, Hawkins\Brown
Farringdon, London
Primarily worked on Liverpool St Crossrail Station, part of the architectural team completing the RIBA Stage F contract. Roles included delivering the blockwork architectural package, through close co-ordination with the engineering disciplines. Also the production of front-of-house details, working with suppliers to ensure the original design intent is translated into a buildable solution. I also worked on a large mixed-use residential masterplan scheme through RIBA Stage 1, completing site analysis to aid the planning and consultation process
Technian/Labourer, Heritage Brickwork Limited
Poplar, London
Worked for the bricklaying firm on a large scale residential development with a budget of £33 million, under the main contractor of Willmott Dixon Housing Ltd. Started as a labourer in a gang of around 30 bricklayers, then having shown my commitment, aptitude and relevant knowledge I was promoted to a more technical/skilled position which involved working independently and using drawings supplied by the architect/consultants to install the cavity trays, wall ties and insulation etc. on the metsec/concrete frame construction.
