I see history and theory not only as an opportunity to appreciate and understand the architecture of the past, but also a strong foundation to support and enrich the modern day design process. Assignments include:

An essay analysing the Altes Museum, Berlin by Karl Schinkel in terms of its historical precedents.
A report exploring the history of Bath and the development of its vernacular architecture. Included mapping a key route through the city over time with a heavy focus on and survey of an historical building, Green Park.
A poster analysing the Villa Shodhan, India by Le Corbusier.
